The purpose of this website is to share pictures of us taking part in horsey events, and enjoying a burger or two afterwards. Sticking the photos here means that all we have to do is refer people to the site if, by some strange accident, they want to get copies of the photos we took at an event. After all, the website address is pretty easy to remember... (Burp!) (Excuse me!).

The photographs, however, in all cases were taken at a much higher resolution than the copies stored here. If you see something you particularly like, make a note of the filename (just hover the mouse over the thumbnail, right-click, "copy shortcut", and paste the shortcut into an e-mail), and then send us an e-mail. We'll send you a copy at whatever resolution you want - free of charge - if you want a print though, we'll have to charge you, but any profit goes to the local riding club.

Be warned though, some of the pictures were taken at ABSOLUTELY VAST resolutions so, unless you are a geek with a monitor the size of a small house, you might end up looking at a little corner of the picture and not be able to see the whole thing... You might also need to have a Broadband internet connection as well because some of the original JPEG images are over 2Mb EACH...

For those of you particularly interested, the digital cameras used were a Canon Ixus 400 (4Mpix), an Olympus C-4040 Zoom (4Mpix), a Canon EOS 10D (6.2Mpix) and now a Canon EOS 20D (8.2Mpix) with a 400mm F4.5-5.2 IS USM Lens.

There is no charge for this, because the photographer is learning how to use his camera (which is why some of the photos aren't very good...), and we're just really nice people. Of course, this means you might have to wait, we offer no guarantees, and please don't try to sue us if you get hurt falling off a horse. Oh, yeah... and if you don't want your picture here, just let us know and we'll delete it.

If there is a picture of a burger van at the top of the page, it means that we ate at your van and found the food to be just what we needed! If you were at an event we took photos at, with your van, and it doesn't appear here - HANG YOUR HEAD IN SHAME because the food was horrid...

If you want to watch horses on television, you don't have to subscribe to a premium cable channel (but you might need a video tape).
Nobody expects you to promise to ride the same horse for the rest of your life.
Nobody expects you to give up riding if your equine partner loses interest in the sport.
You don't have to be a newlywed to plan a vacation primarily for the enjoyment of riding.
Your horse will never say, "What? You just rode me last week! Is that all you ever think about?"
